FACTORS AFFECTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH INFORMATION POLICY AMONG SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS IN NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL

This research was directed towards determining the factors affecting the implementation of health information polices among senior administrative officers in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, (NAUTH) Nnewi. The general objective of the study was examine the factors affecting the implementation of Health information polices among senior administrative officers in (NAUTH) Nnewi. A sample of 80 randomly selected were drawn from population of 180 and frequency distribution table with result showed that 75% respondents stated that health information polices was in place in NAUTH 88% opined that it contributed to the good running of hospital and 50% of the respondents strongly agree with means of 5.9 response, data and simple percentage was used to analyze the data presented in tables, and it showed that health information policy contribute to the good running of the hospital with about 70 (87.5%) total respondents as the highest frequency.
