EFFECTS OF THE RECENT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT POLICY OF TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT

The Treasury Single Account ( TSA) policy was introduced to block Financial leakages, promote transparency and prevent mismanagement of government’s revenue, unifies all government accounts, enabling it prevent revenue loss and management by revenue generating agencies. This is a study which states the effects of the recent Federal Government Policy of Treasury Single Account (T.S.A) on the Health Delivery in Nigeria. The objectives of this study are (i) to examine the effects of Treasury Single Account on the Health Care Delivery in Nigeria, (ii) to identify the benefits and disadvantages of the implementation of Treasury Single Account Policy. The hypotheses formulated to guide this research work; (Ho) Treasury Single Account does have effect on the Health Care Delivery in Nigeria. (Hi) Treasury Single Account does not have negative effect on the Health Care delivery in Nigeria.
