2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the School of Health Information Management, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State for the 2024/2025 academic session. The programme is in two parts. Part I and part II leading to the award of the National and Higher National Diploma in Health Information Management respectively.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
PART I PROGRAMME (ND)
A. Prospective 2024 UTME candidates with a minimum score of 140.
B. In addition to (a) above, candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in the relevant subjects, at not more than two (2) sittings at the SSCE, WASC or their equivalent. The subjects must include:

⇒ English language
⇒ Biology
⇒ Chemistry
PART II PROGRAMME (HND)
In addition to the specific entry requirements for the ND programme for Health Information Management, candidate for the HND programme must meet the following entry requirements.
- National Diploma Certificate in Health Information Management.
- Professional Diploma/Technician Certificate in Health Information Management by HRORBN.
- Evidence of completion of one year relevant work experience in an accredited Health Institution approved by the Board.
- Candidate must have passed part 1 license examination of Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN)
CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION
Selection of candidates for the parts I and II programme will be based on screening of JAMB result, WAEC/NECO/GCE and ND/HT, and any other relevant certificate to determine qualification for admission

METHOD OF APPLICATION
1. ND admission screening fee is N2,000 (two thousand) naira and N1000 for on-line charges bringing it to a total of N3,000
2. HND admission form is N7, 000 and N1,000 for on-line charges total N8,000
3. The candidate should make payment of non refundable application fee of N3,000 (for ND) & N8,000 (for HND) through Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital remita platform.
4. Use RRR number to complete the form in the website www.shimnauth.net and a copy would be sent to your e-mail which you will present on the day of screening.
5. The date for screening exercise for 1st batch part I and part II programme would be Wednesday, August 6, 2024.
6. 2nd week of September, 2024 is the commencement of New Academic session for 2024/2025.
7. Supplementary screening for 2nd batch ends 2nd week in January, 2025
8. Prospective candidates should come along with the ORIGINAL COPIES of their Certificates, processed admission form and payment receipt for the screening.
